  • Direct pharma and/or biotech industry experience
  • Education in life sciences, molecular/cellular biology, neuroscience, or immunology-type of areas (PhD, MD preferred, and especially desirable after good experience base)
  • Understanding of capital markets and financial common sense (CFA, MBA preferred)
  • Equity research experience
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, preferably anchored around strategic advisory experience in the BioPharmaceutical industry

Current Positions

  • Sales Manager (New York, NY)

    We are looking for an energetic and experienced sales professional who is willing to dig in and help grow our two-decade-old institutional research business.

    Responsibilities

    • Learn existing clients’ needs and nurture those relationships in order to uphold superior client service and support renewal efforts.

    • Independently drive revenue growth through selling well-established research services to a new crop of client prospects.

    • Develop growth opportunities through lead generation campaigns, cold-calling, and in person meetings

    • Identify and manage ongoing relationships with key decision makers and build solid client relationships from Assistant to Portfolio Manager.

    Qualifications

    • 3 years sales-specific experience. Institutional sales experience and familiarity with selling to financial firms is ideal.

    • Excellent communication skills, professional presence and presentation skills

    • Corporate marketing/selling experience and solid sales track record.

    • Expertise with Bloomberg, BigDough, Thomson/Reuters, and platforms are a plus.

    • Energetic team player and creative thinker.
